How to Setup Parental Controls on IPTV Smarters Pro

When you purchase a Premium IPTV Smarters Pro Subscription, you instantly gain access to tens of thousands of live channels and VODs from around the world. While this massive library is fantastic for entertainment, it inevitably includes content that is not suitable for children.

Whether it's mature premium movie channels, R-rated VODs, or dedicated adult XXX categories, you need a way to restrict access. Fortunately, IPTV Smarters Pro includes a robust, easy-to-use Parental Control system.

Setting Up Your Master PIN Code

Before you can lock any channels, you must establish a master PIN.

  • 1Open IPTV Smarters Pro and go to the main dashboard.
  • 2Click the Settings icon (the gear in the top right corner).
  • 3Select Parental Control.
  • 4The app will ask you to enter a new Parental Password (PIN). Enter a 4-digit number that you will remember but your kids won't guess.
  • 5Re-enter the PIN to confirm it and click Save.

    Now that your PIN is active, you can choose exactly what to lock.

  • 1While still in the Parental Control menu, you will see tabs for different content types: Live TV, Movies, and Series.
  • 2Click on the Live TV tab.
  • 3Scroll through your provider's list of categories (e.g., Sports, News, Entertainment, Adult).
  • 4Check the box next to any category you want to restrict.
  • 5Repeat this process in the Movies and Series tabs if you want to lock mature VOD folders.
  • 6Click Save.

    • Now, whenever anyone clicks on a restricted category from the main dashboard, a pop-up will appear demanding the 4-digit PIN. Without the PIN, the category remains completely hidden and inaccessible.

    How to Lock an Individual Channel

    If you don't want to lock an entire category but just want to restrict a specific channel (like HBO or Showtime):

  • 1Go to your Live TV section and navigate to the channel you want to lock.
  • 2Using your remote, long-press the channel name.
  • 3A sub-menu will appear. Select Lock Channel.
  • 4Enter your 4-digit PIN to confirm.

    • A small padlock icon will now appear next to the channel name, indicating it is restricted.
