One of the most overlooked features of IPTV Smarters Pro is its ability to record live television. Whether you are going to miss a late-night UFC fight or you want to record a daily news broadcast, Smarters Pro allows you to save streams directly to your device.
Because IPTV streams are essentially massive data downloads, recording high-definition video requires proper setup and adequate storage space. Here is how to do it correctly.
Requirements for Recording
Before you start recording, you must have:
1Adequate Storage: A standard Amazon Firestick only has about 4GB-5GB of usable storage. Recording a 3-hour 1080p football game will easily consume 6GB+. You must attach external storage (like a USB thumb drive) to your device using an OTG (On-The-Go) cable.2A Stable Connection: If your stream buffers while you are watching it, the recording will also contain those buffers. Consider a Premium IPTV Smarters Pro Subscription for flawless stability.3Multiple Connections (Optional but Recommended): If you want to record Channel A while actively watching Channel B, you must have a subscription that supports at least 2 simultaneous connections. How to Set Up the Recording Directory
First, you need to tell the app where to save the files.
1Open IPTV Smarters Pro and go to Settings (gear icon).2Click on Player Settings or Recording Settings (depending on your version).3Find the option for Recording Directory or Download Path.4Browse to your connected USB drive (usually listed under `/storage/emulated/` or `/mnt/`).5Create a new folder named `IPTV_Records` and select it as the destination. Save your changes. How to Record a Live Stream
There are two ways to record:

1Go to the Live TV section and open the channel you want to record.2While the video is playing, press the OK/Select button on your remote to bring up the on-screen display (OSD) menu.3Click the Record icon (usually a red circle).4A prompt will appear asking how long you want to record.
